From November 19 to 21, 2026, the Spanish-speaking Drupal community meets in Madrid: the capital of Spain, a city of more than three million people and one of the biggest tech hubs in southern Europe.
Madrid is an easy city for visitors: it sits at the center of Spain's high-speed rail and road networks, has one of the best-connected airports in Europe and very comprehensive public transport. The city center is easy to explore on foot, and almost everything else is a single metro ride away.
Why Madrid
- Very well connected: direct high-speed trains from most Spanish provincial capitals and flights from almost any European and Latin American city.
- World-class art: the Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen are a short walk from the venue, along the so-called "Paseo del Arte" (Art Walk).
- Food and atmosphere: tapas, markets and neighborhoods that stay lively until late (La Latina, Lavapiés, Malasaña, Huertas).
- Tech ecosystem: many companies, agencies and developer communities are based here, which makes the Business Day a great networking opportunity.
Madrid in November
November in Madrid is cool and dry: highs of around 14 °C (57 °F) and lows of around 5 °C (41 °F), with sunny days and cold nights. Bring a warm jacket and comfortable walking shoes.
In late November the city starts dressing up for Christmas. The Christmas lights switch-on and the Plaza Mayor Christmas market usually kick off the week after the Camp: check the dates on esmadrid.com in case you stay a few extra days.
The venue, in the heart of Arganzuela
The Camp takes place at Talent Garden Madrid (Calle de Juan de Mariana, 15, 28045 Madrid), in the Arganzuela district, next to Méndez Álvaro and Delicias stations, about a 15–20 minute walk from Atocha and about 20 minutes from Madrid Río. More information in "Getting to Talent Garden".
